One of the countless little water canals that sweep between buildings, all across Venice. The secluded boat in the background, contributes to the somewhat eerie atmosphere.

Salzburg, Austria

The fabulous, late Baroque, Leopoldskron Palace, where scenes for the famous movie "The Sound of Music" were filmed. Fortress Hohensalzburg is visible in the upper right.

Transfagarasan, Romania

It's one of the most spectacular roads in the world, swirling across the Carpathian Mountains and connecting the renowned Transylvania region to Wallachia.

Sarti, Greece

Wide angle view of the breathtaking Orange Beach, near Sarti, on the eastern shores of the Sithonia peninsula. The Holy Mountain Athos is also visible in the background.

Halkidiki, Greece

A magnificent sunset, typical for Halkidiki, captured from the cliffs of the Sithonia peninsula. Kasandra, the first peninsula, stretches across the horizon.

About this project

The original purpose of this website was to showcase some of my photos, taken throughout the years. Now, I'm by no means a professional photographer and I'm guessing many of you aren't either, but still, that should't stop us from enjoying a visually appealing photo. With that in mind, I have decided to accept photos from anyone willing to post them on this website, so if you're interested, you're welcome to contact me using the form on the right.
